This evening Grandmother's brother, Uncle Ted Martin, was featured as a Nebraskan farmer on the History Channel's Modern Marvels in the episode "Harvest II." As a former Nebraska State Champion in corn-shucking, Uncle Ted demonstrated how one goes about hand-husking ears of corn. The program will play again on Thursday, November 30 at 2 am for all you crazy night owls.
