Dan Wykoff did some research to answer this question after we each received a silver dollar from Papa's collection at the reunion. He found this website: http://www.littletoncoin.com. It will tell you how much your coin is worth according to the price at which your coin is being sold. Directions for finding your coin's value:
1. Go to http://www.littletoncoin.com
2. Click on the "U.S. Coins" tab
3. Scroll down to "Shop for U.S. Coins"
4. Select "Morgan Dollars (1878-1921)" --this is assuming yours is a Morgan Silver Dollar
5. Click on "Single Morgan Dollars" and find your coin's year and value (the coins are sorted chronologically oldest to newest).
